We have invested heavily in our legal structure and consulted with experts in the charity and gambling industry to ensure correct governance and compliance. Our 3 step account validation process for all charities is:
Step One: We link up with the Charity Commission’s API (Application Programming Interface), using the email address they hold for your charity and check your details against the information held by them.
Step Two: Your charity’s bank account is verified with a small deposit credited via Faster Payments from Lucky Ticket. You will need to enter a 4 digit code provided with this deposit to verify your bank account.
Step Three: In turn, your bank account will then need to be linked to Stripe, our trusted payment processing platform, to allow funds raised from your raffles to be paid directly into your verified bank account. (Please note, if you do not already have a Stripe account you will be required to create one).
These combined steps are our way of ensuring Lucky Ticket raffles are raising funds for registered charities only.
