Lucky Ticket is a digital platform which empowers charities to convert gifts, donated and purchased items into online fundraising raffles. Your supporters can buy tickets to win prizes whilst contributing to the causes closest to their hearts. Lucky Ticket allows a direct transaction between those buying the tickets and the benefiting charity.
How It Started
The Future Of Fundraising
Giving Matters was established in 2020 in response to the COVID-19 pandemic to give control back to charities and fundraisers, making each fundraising opportunity seamless and super easy to manage.
Our aim is to develop a range of nimble, online platforms which allow charities, fundraisers and consumer sites to raise money for the causes they support – with radical transparency and zero friction.
The Company We Keep
We’ve integrated with some of the most innovative and respected technology and charity industry organisations.
What Do The Charities Think?
Forest Mobile Meals
Due to Covid-19 the charity has lost its main source of funding as our two charity shops have been closed. Lucky Ticket has enabled us to transform donated and purchased gifts into amazing prizes for our supporters and raise vital funds. Having the capability to run online fundraising raffles for our audience has been a game changer for the charity. The process was straightforward and efficient reducing the time and cost of fund raising.
The concept of the Lucky Ticket Community Pledge is very similar to a referral scheme; one that rewards the charity that first introduced you to Lucky Ticket as you go on to explore and support other charities’ fundraising raffles
What’s the thinking behind the Community Pledge?
At Lucky Ticket we understand the value of community and helping one another. The concept of "charities helping charities" is something we have built into our DNA and in turn this has brought about the creation of our Lucky Ticket Community Pledge
We like to think of it as a two-way street with the Community Pledge enabling charities to continue to fundraise from the audience they introduce to the Lucky Ticket platform, regardless of which other charities' raffles their supporters go on to buy tickets for
How much is the Community Pledge?
5% from every raffle ticket sold goes to the Community Pledge
Who receives the 5% from the Community Pledge?
The charity that first introduces you to Lucky Ticket receives the Community Pledge 5% from the very first raffle you enter. If you then go on to explore and enter other charities’ raffles, 5%of every subsequent ticket you buy will go back to the first charity that introduced you to Lucky Ticket.
